I decided to revamp my brand in January 2015, and I'm very happy with it. I felt that my previous design was just a little bit too teeny bopper-ish, and I wanted something to better appeal to sophisticated women.
Keystones of my look include the black and white stripes, vintage flowers, and shiny gold. Color scheme is limited to black and white, and hues specific to the fragrance. I've limited my products and available fragrances to the best sellers.
I really like the new chic look, clean lines, and modern feel. It's like a joint venture of elegance and modern design. This is a design I can be proud, and not apprehensive of. Anybody who knows anything about marketing is that branding design is 90% of the game. If it doesn't catch someone's eye right away, they're not going to waste their time learning about the product.
Right now, I'm actually thinking about whether I should continue the large bar soaps, or switch over completely to the mini soaps. The mini soaps, which are about 0.5 oz each, have proven to be more popular.
I haven't quite arrived where I'm headed, but I'm actively working on it. It's a lot of work, especially since I'm doing it all on my own. Juggling design, marketing, sales, and everything else is a doozy.
