I'm naturally driven to make things with my hands, whether it be food, clothing, furniture, or bath and body products! You see, design is my passion. Some have referred to it as a gift or a talent.
I absolutely love to make things with my hands- I've always been that way. When I was a kid, around 5 or 6, I used to get in trouble for bending the wire hangers into different shapes, animals, etc. For a long time, I believed there was something "wrong" with me because I was always called 'weird'. But in reality, I was just artistic.
After leaving for college in the fall of 2005, I learned to embrace my passion and creativity by being surrounded by people similar to myself. I no longer apologize for the way my mind works. Some people can sing, some people can dance, some people can do other amazing things. This is me- I draw, bake, crochet, and sew. I love power tools, and I love to build things. And if that makes me 'weird', then I'm okay with that.
