Garlic Cheddar Biscuits


Who doesn't love Red Lobster's cheddar bay biscuits? They're absolutely delicious. But do you know their nutrition facts? 



Here's my recipe for a cleaner cheddar biscuit. 

What you'll need (makes 12):
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup almond milk (40 cal/serving or less)
2 tsp sugar
1/2 cup reduced fat shredded cheese
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

What to do:
Mix softened butter and sugar in a bowl. Add in milk. In a separate bowl, blend flour and baking powder. Add flour mix to wet ingredients 1/4 cup at a time. Fold in cheese a little at a time. Separate evenly into 12 pieces and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, bake on 350 for 20 minutes on a lightly sprayed baking sheet. Enjoy!
